Today, I finally came home from a semester of college, and all my parents and sister can talk about is how bad my acne has gotten. FML

Well that sucks. I'm sorry that's all they care about, maybe go hang with other family or friends until they realize is not that big of a deal

I'm sorry man. I had cystic acne a few years ago. I finally had to use acutane, so I haven't had a pimple in years now, though my skin is always dry. I feel your pain... -Ty

LMBO @10&26 but don't worry OP, one day i was washing my face thinking how it would suck to be one of those poor, acne-ridden teens. then i realized i WAS one of those poor acne-ridden teens. ps, Proactiv works, but it has to get worse before it actually gets better. which sucks big time. and if you're a girl, i would definetly recommend Bare Naturals or any kind of mineral make-up.

Sorry to hear that. =/ Reminds me of someone I know at NYU. Makes me feel bad thinking about it, she's so nice.

aawwwww I'm sorry :( Hey, try using clean and clear deep cleaning astringent.. it worked for me and it's great fir sensitive skin :)

go to the dermatologist so they can prescribe you epiduo.and some foods my dermatologist said can make acne flare are chocolates,nuts/peanut butter, caffeine, cola, and milk because of all the extra hormones that they put in cows to produce more milk.but organic hormone free milk is ok.

My parents do this to me all the time. Nice to know I'm not the only one out there. But just to make things worse they threaten to ground me and call me a lier because they refuse to except that off the shelf products and random " remedies" are not working but insist that it's just me being lazy and not washing my face when in reality I was my face 3 times a day at minimum

I feel your pain. It's like people don't realize that you know you have acne and they have to point it out for you. -_-

Go see a dermatologist. These things aren't a problem to fix these days
