Today, I finally got a Wii Fit to try and lose some weight. I came home and set it all up, only to be told that I weigh too much to actually use it. FML

I'm the OP, decided to make an account... Reason I put on so much weight is cause I had a car run up my leg by a 16 year old bitch who was too busy chatting on her phone to even notice she hit me. So after my broken foot, ankle, and leg "healed", I got to go through the process of starting rehab on all the torn stuff in my ankle. 18 months later, I can walk again with only a slight limp. Yay! Believe me, I'd love to be able to go out for a walk or hit the gym but some days (rainy days especally) going from bed to the bathroom is a chore and any kind of incline or decline hurts still. And I didn't know I was over 330 when I got to the store (got a scale too, 334... what a bitch, huh?) so that was a huge shock. Obviously I know I was overweight, but not this bad. Thanks to like the 10 people with kind words... the rest of you enjoy your summer, high school starts back up in about 8 weeks.

Wii Fit is not something made to help you lose weight, it's made to help you STAY in shape or tone up. If you weigh too much to use it you need a personal trainer not a video game. I'll take it if you aren't using it though. It's been raining here for weeks I could use an indoor tone up :D

im not trying to be mean but if you weigh over 300lb how much do you weigh?

There's a new workout game out for the Wii, I've been using it for over a month and it's working for me and I'm a lazy ass. Then when you get down pass 300 pounds, the Game is compatible with the Wii Balance board and this game is not rude like the Wii Balance Board. EA Sports ~ Active ~ Personal Trainer Totally worth the buy Good Luck

The wii fit can hold 330lbs. How the hell did you let yourself get that heavy? Genetics will make you abnormally large, but more that 330lbs? The only excuse for that is laziness and gluttony. It revolts me that so many people are essentially eating themselves to death when untold millions are starving. People like you are what's wrong with the world. YDI.

YDI for trying to lose weight from a ******* video game. Go to the gym like everyone else, fatass.

Why are people so cruel and judgemental? Perhaps its individuals like yourselves that make the OP not want to go into a gym, on a run, etc. Great for you OP for trying! My sister suffered from being over-weight, which was caused by depression(which was out of her control). Try being active without calling it a "workout." My sister recently started playing discgolf with me (sort of like golf but played with disc, hence the name) and it really helped her to stay active without putting alot of strain on her frame. Maybe it could help! Best of Luck. :)

Just buy EA sports active, that game with some tougher resistance bands will kick your ass back into shape.

You don't need a gym or a wii or any of that shit. Just go outside and walk. Plus, now you have an initial goal weight. Sure, it's kind of embarrassing, but no one said you have to tell anyone. Any way, why are you reading this? There's got to be a side walk or road outside calling your name.

eat better and get some cardio. you could have paid for a gym membership and a trainer for what you paid for the wii.
