Today, I finally got a Wii Fit to try and lose some weight. I came home and set it all up, only to be told that I weigh too much to actually use it. FML

I'm the OP, decided to make an account... Reason I put on so much weight is cause I had a car run up my leg by a 16 year old bitch who was too busy chatting on her phone to even notice she hit me. So after my broken foot, ankle, and leg "healed", I got to go through the process of starting rehab on all the torn stuff in my ankle. 18 months later, I can walk again with only a slight limp. Yay! Believe me, I'd love to be able to go out for a walk or hit the gym but some days (rainy days especally) going from bed to the bathroom is a chore and any kind of incline or decline hurts still. And I didn't know I was over 330 when I got to the store (got a scale too, 334... what a bitch, huh?) so that was a huge shock. Obviously I know I was overweight, but not this bad. Thanks to like the 10 people with kind words... the rest of you enjoy your summer, high school starts back up in about 8 weeks.

Wii Fit is not something made to help you lose weight, it's made to help you STAY in shape or tone up. If you weigh too much to use it you need a personal trainer not a video game. I'll take it if you aren't using it though. It's been raining here for weeks I could use an indoor tone up :D

Hi, I am Sorry but i have to disagree! i have read on here all the comments and it seems most of u are saying "eat less and MOVE MORE" by using the wii fit are u not fooking moving more??? I think most of these comments are bloody stupid! If u are dieting but cant find time to go to a gym or even a run but have time while ur kids are in bed to use a wii fit then i am sure this is far by better than doing no exercise at all.And comment to monkey whatever u say u lost weight by eating less and going for a run and also YOGA well wii fit has yoga so its really the same thing no? I feel sorry for the person who started this forum the poor person come on here to express there feeling yes it may say on the box but just mayb just mayb that person didnt read and made a mistake why bloody slag them off for being over weight?? they clearly want to do something about it, thats why she brought the fit in the first place! I just think that most of u are rude and nasty and shouldnt comment unless ur supporting why disheart ppl? would u like this done to a family member?????????????????

If you cam find time to use a wii fit then you can find time to go for a jog, so time doesn't work as an issue. It'll take the same amount of time and it would be cheaper too.

You might want to try Livestrong.com's free features to track what you're eating and find out how many calories you can eat a day and still lose your desired amount of weight a week. You can also track the exercise you do every day. I've lost quite a bit of weight doing this and doing Wii Fit and Wii Sports. You can do Wii Sports without the board, and when you're down to the weight limit, you can start doing Wii Fit too. I'm sorry to hear that you didn't see the weight limit on the box. well, you cannot weigh too much to play unless you weigh 600 lb +. the wii is accustom to all ages, weights, heights. Wii Fit FAQ: Can all weights go on the wii fit? Yes, generally. We did not program a teller to tell people they weigh too much, it would make them feel bad. The wii board can hold up to 800 lb, but 600 lb is probably the maximum it can hold. It is not humanely possible to weigh 600 or 800 lb without a disorder or being bed ridden. The wii is accustom to all ages, heights, sizes and differences. Thanks for your question.
