Statutory rapists have been defended by the media already but only if they are females. Look at Mary Kay Letourneau and many other pedophile female teachers who had sexual relationships with underage students and said it was "love". They are rapists and too often get away with it, like Debra Lafave who got house arrest.

If you're an ugly female teacher who slept with a student then they get crucified by the media and they get way longer sentences then the "pretty" ones. They should ALL get long sentences. I'm still pissed about the really pretty one who basically got off with a slap on the wrist by saying she was too pretty for prison.

I completely agree, everyone who rapes should have a long sentence, obviously slight chances depending how many times, with how many people. I don't think gender or attractiveness should come into the picture at all.
