Most women with small breasts are very young and lean. I can almost guarantee that most of the women who have busts you admire and more body fat. You will probably soften and plump with age. Those people that defy this stereotype have often had breast augmentation. Where I live, I think about half the women have had it done. I knew one young women who was perfectly flat who modeled. My brought along a bag filled with boobs. She had A's, B's, and C's depending on what the photographer wanted and how the clothes fit. Of course, she could also go au natural for a high fashioned look.

I have no boobs too. People just don't get it. Our society tells us we aren't 'real women' without big boobs. This message is thrown at us from the time we're little kids...It's a lot deeper than a self esteem issue. People with big boobs will argue with us about how boobs suck...but they have no idea what it's like to grow up like this and feel inferior to the world.

Please do not feel down about your breast size. There are many men out there, like me, that actually prefer smaller ones.

I am sure there's a lot to like about you, so don't get bummed out about one detail. Just go with it and accept yourself as you are. You'll be just fine.

On the plus side, no back problems from too heavy boobs squished into poorly fitting bras! More seriously, if it's that big of an issue, talk to your GP or GYN and see if they have any non-surgical recommendations, and if not, start saving up for breast implants. You could also try getting pregnant and see if that causes permanent growth, but that's more expensive than the surgery in the long term.

If it makes you feel better I'm as flat as a board in the bra region. I went to a nice bra shop for a fitting, and was told, you don't need a bra, even if we they made bras that small you still wouldn't need it. And to add even more salt into the wound, the woman fitting me said, you wouldn't even fill a training bra for preteens. I've been self conscious of this ever since and just go for the cupless sports bras, that look like half a singlet. But you are more than your chest, that's not what's going to make you change the world - your brain, your kindness and personality are what will really leave a lasting impact in this world. So us flat chested women. Unite with every other woman and always know - your boobs will never define who you are and what your capable of. Chin up, you don't need enormous boobs to matter in this world =)
