Today, I finally met the guy I've been talking to online for a year. I'd dropped 10lbs off my weight. He'd shaved 20 years off his age. FML

Today, thanks to traveling restrictions being lifted, I was finally able to go visit the guy I've been chatting with online for the past year. When we met it was like a TV show, well more like three shows: Catfish, Hoarders and My 600lbs life. Turns out he had his neighbor video chat me all along. FML

Today, I met the guy I've been talking to online for two years in real life. He tried to convince me to have his children because they would be average height. He's a midget and I'm 6'2". This is the most romantic thing anybody has ever said to me. FML

Today, I hung out with some old friends for the first time since losing about 50 pounds, going from clinically obese to a healthy weight. I even bought a cute new dress for the occasion to show off my new body. No one noticed the change. FML

Today, I met a guy online. We talked all night long and hit it off amazingly. He told me he'd never felt that way about anyone else, and I agreed. He sent me a picture and he was gorgeous. I sent him one after he assured me he didn't care what I looked like. I haven't heard from him since. FML

Ok I think I finally understand this FML from how everyone is explaining it. So she shaved off 10 pounds of hair, and he got in his DeLorean and went back to 1990 to be 20 years younger. Right? Cool, we're all on the same page.

Doesn't this mean that the OP took the effort to lose 10lb to look better. While the guy only needed to shave to look younger (better)? Stating the difference between their efforts in looking good?

#156 Uhm correct me if I am wrong but I think she means the dude lied about his age by 20 years. So that would mean if he said he was like...36 he is actually 56.
