Today, I finally picked up my new bank card after my old one was stolen. It took the bank six weeks and five separate orders to figure it out, on top of which they've charged me a rush fee. FML

It should have taken no more than 2 days. Banks are a dime a dozen - find a new one.

Perhaps change banks? At least complain to customer service and threaten to do so - they will most likely refund the rush fee.

I wonder if your bank is Wells Fargo! I used to work for them and that would happen to people all the time!

Doesn't really sound like an fml, sounds like life.

Complain - I was in a very similar situation a year back and got £150 compensation. Wouldn't have helped much had I been like a business owner or something and the messing around had affected business but as a broke student I was pretty grateful. I definitely wasn't charged anything - your bank sounds kinda dickish.

Banks=crooks. They just want your money

Go to a credit union, apparently I'm retarded enough to loose a new card every several months during my drunken rampages. My credit union have been very kind to supply me with an unlimited amount of debit card replacement free of charge.

Shouldn't you have maybe learned something after the first or second drunken rampage?

This really sucks. But I have Navy Federal and they only have a three day wait
