Today, I finally picked up my new bank card after my old one was stolen. It took the bank six weeks and five separate orders to figure it out, on top of which they've charged me a rush fee. FML

It should have taken no more than 2 days. Banks are a dime a dozen - find a new one.

I'd be calling and asking for a manager. Then, I'd demand the rush fee be returned.

Banks charge you for everything under the sun that they can. They charge you to spend your own money! Even if it is their fault they will charge you for the mistake. I've been screwed over by 3 different banks. 2 that allowed someone to take money out of my account without an approval. 1 charged me an overdraft fee for a check that should have been covered by cash that was deposited the day prior. I deal with cash only now. I work hard for every cent I earn and can't afford the BANKS mistakes. Ones that they never refunded me for.

Happened to me too. 4 weeks and they charged me with a rush fee so I complained that it wasn't exactly rushed. So I now have 2 of the same credit cards

Banks try to charge you for everything, thats why i switched to a credit union

Lol, looking at all these comments, banks work VERY differently in other parts of the world. I'm not saying banks over here won't try to charge you for anything, but at least we have very protective consumer laws.
