Today, I finally picked up my new bank card after my old one was stolen. It took the bank six weeks and five separate orders to figure it out, on top of which they've charged me a rush fee. FML

It should have taken no more than 2 days. Banks are a dime a dozen - find a new one.

One of the worst! They allowed someone to take money out of my account without an approval. Then charged me 3x's for overdraft. And they continued to allow this to happen even after going to the bank and putting a hold on the account. They said that all I could do was pay for it. Wtf?!

Aye Bank of America. I got the same bloody thing, rushed fee after they sent it to several wrong addresses including an ex girlfriends... the er same ex-girlfriend that once tapped one of my bank accounts. Then of course a 25$ rush fee was addded to it all.

I understand how you feel, but when you're actually doing the work, people procrastinate :p 'due tomorrow, do tomorrow'

OMG, i had the same problem with Chase when i upgraded my account and they wanted to send me a new card. Three weeks later and 5 phone calls no card so i asked if i could continue using the same card i had been using, they said yes and never bothered to send me another. Meanwhile they seem to be able to send statements and junk mail to the right mailbox. I'd switch except i travel often and its the only bank i can find in almost any state. Anyway, now you have the card.

Call your bank and theyll reverse the fee if you explain that it took 6 weeks

I can't say I'm surprised that you were still charged for that. Banks won't do anything unless they're lining their own pockets in the process.
