Today, I found my dead phone that had been missing for two weeks. I turned it on to see that I had only gotten 2 text messages during the two weeks. They were both from my mother. FML

Today, after working out at the gym, I went to grab my bag, and realized that my phone was missing. Panicking, I reached into my pocket, pulled out my phone, and dialed my mom's number to tell her I'd lost it. It took me until the last ring to realize what I was doing. FML

I don't understand the obsession about texts. Since when has the number of texts become proportional to the number of friends? If your friendship is built on such superficial things, then I'm afraid you haven't got any real friends.

Well think about it, OP. If you went around making a big deal over your phone being dead and lost, which most people would do, of course no one texted you.
