I had a friendship request once and it was from a sister that I didn't even know about my dad told her about me. I know little about my dad and once we started talking she has got the same dad. So things like that does happen and I hope you have get to know her and can start being a dad. Good luck for the future.

What, you think people lie for fun about this? For all we know, the girl could've told OP much more than he can put in this FML message. If her mother is someone OP slept with and her birthday is 9 months before OP had sex with the mother, well... Or maybe he actually asked the mother after this, who then confirmed it.
