Today, I found out my grandmother passed away. When I told my boyfriend I began to cry. Instead of caring, he said "you're getting my bed wet," rolled over, and fell asleep. FML

Today, I called my boyfriend to have a shoulder to cry on because my grandpa died. As soon as I told him, he started crying and telling me how much he missed his grandmother, who died six years ago. I spent the majority of the phone call listening to him wail. FML

Today, after holing myself up in my room for the day, I eventually turned my phone back on and told my girlfriend that my grandma passed away today. She replied, "Ask me if I fucking care," then accused me of not caring about our relationship because I went offline all day. FML

Today, my grandma, who was placed in a hospice a few months ago, started to decline in health and passed away, The day before she died I thought my girlfriend was so sweet because she took a leading role in her care, just to find out she didn’t care about her at all. It was just an act to steal her pain medication. FML

wow that sounds like my ex. when my grandpa passed away, he wouldn't hold me or console me because "crying is a sign of weakness" and "I don't sympathize or mourn the dead, so you shouldn't either" same with when my grandma passed a year later.

Pick your moments." Ok, you *may* have a point. If he was still half asleep and not yet lucid, I could understand. Maybe he was still in dream land and didn't understand what she was saying. It's not clear from the OP. But if he did understand, regardless of whether he was just woken up or not, he is a jerk. Case closed.
