IT can track it. Don't take the blame.
That sucks OP! I hope it won't follow you throughout your career & you're able to move forward without too many bumps in the road ahead. When you're an intern you're an easy target, unfortunately. Like others have said - I'm sure the IT department can trace it & hopefully HR will hear you out & believe you. HANG IN THERE & WELCOME to the R.W.! ; )
tell the truth. don't take the blame
dude, never take the blame for anyone, it can follow you to your next job hunts!!
Is your boss Hayley from paramore?
That kind of place will NOT give you a career. And it will never be the kind of place you want to spent the next 40ish years of your life. Report this ass of a boss and get on your way.
Hopefully all your sacrifice pays off??
This is not acceptable at all. Your boss is using you. Please do not let this go on any further
Bullshit if you let yourself take the hit on that one! & if you do, YDI - that attitude is why they think that they can treat you like shit in the first place.
You're completely missing the biggest lesson of your internship here. Never take the blame. Your boss is showing you that you can be a totally incompetent prick and still be a boss if you can find some idiot to pass the blame to. I suggest pinning it right on his chest.

That's not right, you should report him
Dude **** that. Make it clear that wasn't your fault. Talk to HR about it.
