TYSGIRL---the reason is part of the Obama stimulas program.....for 2009 which put more take home pay into your checks. Prepare yourselves married couples, the government double payed the married filers by accident, in which that overpayment amount is going to have to be paid back.
Overpayments aren't the only reason people get refunds. There's EIC, Child Tax Credit, Dependent Care Credit (daycare), there's a new credit called "making work pay" (or something like that) related to self-employment, etc. Those credits can really add up
does no one take vows seriously anymore? if you took time to work things out instead of taking the "easy" way out, maybe you wouldn't have such financial problems.
you don't know their situation. some people really do have irreconcilable differences.
y r u cumplainin bout ur life instead of workin towarss makin it better? if ur in dis horrible financial state, ur not gonna get anywhere by postin crap on FML. sell da computer u were on wen u posted dis shit.
The library probably wouldn't appreciate a patron selling one of its computers.
well if money is that tight sell your iPodipone
I bet you're the one who quit your job and left your husband. that's what the he'll you get lmao dumb ass.
Wouldn't the amount you had taken out have been set by you, not your employer? You should have filled out a form when you started that would have covered that.
but you have time to be on FML? I think you should focus on making some money.

Poor you! literally! :/
Seriously--it is not your employers responsibility to take out "enough" taxes for you. Thats all on your shoulders!! When you get a check, you should always look at how much federal/state is being withheld. If there is too much, or not enough, it is YOUR responsibility to fill out a new W4 form to adjust it. Part-time jobs rarely withhold enough taxes, even if you have several part time jobs. The government views each job as your only job, and pretty much gives you your entire wage. You need to withhold an additional $5-10 per check with part-time jobs if you don't want to pay in.
