honestly if you only would have passed with the bare minimum grade, you don't really deserve to pass, it simply means that you retained enough to answer some questions, not that you actually learned anything or will be able to apply it

All these people are saying the OP deserves it for not studying but, these are test you can't really study for. State issued test are really an evaluation of the teacher's abilities and their progress.
