Today, I found out that I was one point away from passing a state science exam. FML

Why do you have a sideways picture of a girl with fake pink hair? Because it's your picture, therefore your decision. :) Just like his picture is his decision. Not tryin' to be mean, just pointing out the obvious.

omg that happened to me last year too!! chen?!

That really sucks OP. Those state exams piss me off to no end. They'r pointless. Anyway, to everyone saying they should have studied more: they might have spent a great deal of time studying and just completely froze up for the exam. I know I've done that a few times. Or maybe they knew the material, but just suck at test taking. Just pointing out that there are different reasons for failing a test...

In Texas, at least, no one really "studies" for the TAKS test. It's knowledge that every student should already know. Sometimes the teachers review beforehand so the students can remember some of the things they may have forgotten. The science TAKS was the hardest for me because I was a year ahead of what the state said I should have been in science so all the info that was on there was from over a year ago. Of course, "no child left behind" means that the tests still have to be ridiculously easy. :-/

yeah and you look like your taking a piss. How attractive :P

I agree with you, but only in certain subjects. English, History, Science, easy as shit. Math, on the other hand, hard as hell.

wtf. thats nothing. if u get a 375. you could retake it. i got a 374 and on history, a 399/600. 400 is passing

passing by one point doesn't automatically make you good at the subject, either. I'm glad you didn't pass, we don't want people like you who BARELY passed out there doing science experiments, and probably failing.
