Today, I found out that my entire class, me included, has to rewrite the painfully difficult midterm we wrote last week. All this because the Professor left the exams strewn across her desk. The cleaners thought it was trash and disposed of them. FML

Go to the dean. Her negligence is not your problem - you did the work required by the course as outlined in the syllabus. Any other fuckups are entirely on her.

Thank you! It wasn't a paper or assignment…it was an exam. Hand-written, and done in class. Kind of hard to save a copy of that on the computer...

I'm leaning towards blaming the cleaning staff. The papers where on TOP of the desk and they were not crumbled.... I think. Which in any case, it could be a message from God telling you to pop a better midterm out of your ass.

Why does everyone think this was done on a computer? I think there's a much higher chance that this was an in-class, handwritten exam... no saved copies, sadly :(

the cleaners didn't think it was trash... this is an annual prank they pull off every year. now you know revenge is called for, go to the bathroom and smear poo on the mirrors.

The cleaners were probably struggling authors who read the papers and judged them to be trash and saved the prof from the tedium of reading them. On the do-over try not to be derivative and banal ... your paper has become tiresome, now's the time on Shprockets ven vee dance!

it was a MIDTERM. An EXAM. When was the last time you walked into class and they allowed you to take the exam on a computer and then save it so you can print it out later?
