Today, I found out that my entire class, me included, has to rewrite the painfully difficult midterm we wrote last week. All this because the Professor left the exams strewn across her desk. The cleaners thought it was trash and disposed of them. FML

Today, I got my results on a recent, important midterm. During the exam, I'd noticed my instructor had accidentally left an answers page in the test packet, so being honest, I didn't look at them. It turns out she did it on purpose to help us pass. I failed. FML

Today, I asked my professor what happened to the assignment I gave him several weeks ago. Turns out he lost it, and graded me zero as a result. Now if I want a mark, he says I'll have to hand-write it all over again, but that I "probably shouldn't bother," because it was "a bit shit, really." FML

Today, my teacher told me that she couldn't find my hand-written essay on the Renaissance, and that I have to re-do it all by tomorrow. I later saw my essay on her desk, covered in a massive coffee stain that made virtually everything unreadable. FML

Today, I found out why my biology class TA, who takes the class alongside the other students, was always so eager to collect my work. Turns out, she's been erasing my name on my papers and writing hers in all semester. My failing final grade has already been finalized. FML

Today, I was taking the final exam for one of my classes. The teacher came over to my desk, grabbed my test and ripped it in half. Then he grabbed my hand and read the note I had written on it to remind myself to pay rent. FML

Today, I left my grandmother's burial to take a midterm. Earlier I e-mailed the professor to ask permission to take it later, and she flat out said "no." I left my grieving family, and traveled hours back to school. I went to class, only to discover that the prof decided to move the exam date. FML

Today, I was separating my notes into two piles: one to save for exam studying and one to throw out. I finished separating, picked up the junk pile, and absentmindedly shredded it. Afterwards, I looked down to see the junk pile still completely intact. Goodbye, passing grades. FML

Today, I took a final for my law class. As I was taking the test, I noticed the girl on my left copying off me. I wrote all the wrong answers on my sheet while writing the correct answers on my desk hoping she would copy the wrong answers down. I forgot to write the correct answers on my test. FML

Go to the dean. Her negligence is not your problem - you did the work required by the course as outlined in the syllabus. Any other fuckups are entirely on her.

You guys realize that most midterms are not typed right? Term/midterm papers are, but the OP specifically said exam.

Why would a custodian dispose of papers on a damn desk? That seems like more of a place where important papers belong. If the professor didn't need them, you'd think he would throw them away. I'd say that the cleaners are douches. :l

You don't save midterms. Most midterms if not all are in class exams that you write in an exam booklet. At least when I was in university that's how it was.

I wouldn't call leaving stuff on your desk careless. Most people do that. The cleaners shouldn't touch stuff left ON the desk.

thats totally crap but hey turn it into positive go get together with your classmates and discuss the questions that you remembered that was on exam and compile a cheat sheet, compare answers on what they got and what you got consider this a second chance if you felt like bombed it and in this case it sounds like you didn't do the first go around.
