They even went out to dinner, and she didn't tell me. I was planning on taking her out tonight too, and I only found out because my friend ran into them. FML

It might not even be about money. You should really talk to her and see I'd there isn't something that's bothering her. Maybe she's just trying to get her mind off difficulties in some area of her life.
