To be fair, she's not wrong in her reasoning. The problem is, in a world where polyamorous society is generally frowned upon, casually dating multiple people without the serious commitment is easily mistaken as "cheating". The fine line's finer than you'd think. However, if she claimed to "love" you and whatever, then yeah, the bitch needs a slap. Her excuse at that point is worth less than her respect for you.
