For all of you who don't understand the word "maths" look at where he is from. That is how they say it over there. I believe we're the only country that say "math".

Take your mother's example. Maybe if you were seeing your math teacher he could help you develop your math skills too. What? You interrupted it differently? Well screw you.

*Sigh* ... and here come the foolishly smug wannabe Grammar Nazis. For everyone who has not read the many replies above: "Maths" and "math" are both correct. "Maths" is used in most of the English-speaking world, just not in the USA (and maybe Canada? I've heard Canadians use both). The proper term is disputed, because it's one of those tricky singular and plural nouns, depending on context. So no one can definitely decide if the "s" should remain or be abbreviated away.
