It’s due the next day... What’s the problem? Knock it out! Okay it might take more like a day and a half, just tell the professor and send them both papers. Or explain it to the professor and they might take it as is. Most writing assignments, professors want to see that you are thinking about and engaging with that text, so the book itself doesn’t really matter. That is, unless they specifically asked you to write about a specific book.
I'm going to assume you're in college since it's a lengthy ten page paper. Since you're in college you should not be this careless, especially since they teach you to always read the instructions carefully in every grade of highschool. Own up to your mistakes and make sure it doesn't happen next time.
Lol 10 pages in college qualifies as lengthy? Lololololno
Hey guys, OP here. I know this sounds ridiculous, but it’s true. It was in a huge class of 300 people, and I did end up emailing the professor and I got it done in the one night. We only had a huge 800 page textbook for the class, and a smaller book, both called Psych books. It is my fault for not looking ahead earlier, I had a super busy semester.

Email your professor and tell them what happened, provide proof that you had finished an essay and weren’t just slacking off. Doing so might make them more lenient... well, a D- is better than an F right?
Two months for 10 pages? I'm hoping you're in middle school, but then I'm also wondering why you're on FML. It's totally possible to write a quality 10 page paper overnight.
