always check facebook friends of the possible "fake" account when you don't know the person. look at pics and friends of the account and comments most ppl won't take the time to create fake facebook accounts with that stuff too.

That reminds me of when my little brother tried to pretend to be my Grandma on Facebook while he was at her house. I figured out it wasn't her from the typing style being different and giving details on things she wouldn't usually care about.
