Today, I found out that the only reason my "friend" comes over to my apartment is so that she can charge her phone using my electricity, because she's too cheap to use her own. FML

Today, one of my roommates blew a fuse by running a personal heater on full overnight. I notified our landlady that I had to get a new fuse; she came over to pay me for it. Only as I heard landlady's horn did I see another roommate's girlfriend's car; she stayed overnight and isn't allowed to. Both roomies got evicted and blamed me. FML

Today, I accidentally left my bedroom light on all day. When I got home, my mum screamed at me for wasting electricity. This is the same woman who leaves the TV on all day while she’s at work, all so our dogs have something to watch and won't be “bored”. FML

Adults know that it would definitely costs more to get over to her apartment than to charge her phone at home. It was probably just a joke her friend said and OP took it sensitively.

Adults would know that. However, there are loads of stupid people in the world. If somebody is stupid and cheap... that could be a reason. I wonder if perhaps OP lives somewhere between his/her "friend's" work or school? That way they're stopping by on the way home and doing stuff there. That way they wouldn't be wasting a trip. If they are that cheap... they wouldn't waste the gas.

Turn the power off, then when she comes over, see what her reaction is after you tell her your power went out. Whatever happens next could tell if she's worth keeping, just to make sure.
