Gotta add that phlegm bro lol
"Good naked"
So easy to do, especially with Swiss German speakers. Don't worry-they would have understood what you meant! I made a similar goof with 'sex' and 'sechs' on exchange there, even after 3 years learning it.
I just looked up the word for naked... and it looks almost exactly the same as the word for night. Is the difference just in the gutteral ch of nacht? because I was taught that it was basically a k sound.
You know how people from the UK have a specific way of pronouncing the 'ch' in 'Loch Ness Monster'? That's how You say 'Nacht'.
I kind of understand why nobody corrected You, especially if Your mother tongue is English. Most Americans/Englishmen/Australians/etc. find the 'ch' in 'Nacht' very hard to pronounce and as long as You pronounce it with a long 'a' instead of a short one, You should be fine and people will know what You mean even if You say 'Gute Naackt'. (I think. Not sure about Swiss accents.) Accents are a very interesting thing, plus they probably didn't want to be smartasses who correct You all the time. They probably thought it was endearing.
This is funny. Anyway, I'm going to sleep, good naked guys.
Always ;)
How could you nacht get that right?
Are you a lady, OP? That makes a lot of difference.
"Have a good naked, see you tomorrow" "It's the middle of the naked" "I didn't sleep very well last naked" Maybe they thought you were a nudist when you got home?

Why would it take 6 months for someone to correct you? I can imagine you saying something like "last naked we went out to dinner" would make a person confused and then realize you meant night and would teach you how to say it correctly way before 6 months went by
I can just imagine OP asking, "Are we hanging out naked?"
