Eh, most couples don't have a romantic "how we met" story. My mother still describes my father as "jumping like a pogo stick" when she met him. She was not impressed, but they still stuck together :P

When I met my girlfriend nearly two years ago, it was because she was literally the first person I spoke to in our Aikido class. I don't know if we ever would have hit it off otherwise. If you're honest, no relationship starts out in a way that sounds very good. In How I Met Your Mother, Lily and Marshall perfected their 'how we met' story, but Marshall actually told Ted later that night, "This super hot goth chick stopped by earlier today. Totally gonna tap that."
