Well... just because you live in the same house and are related, doesn't mean it's a must to tell you. He's a big boy, he can do as he pleases. You found out didn't you?!? So stop complaining. Just ask him why, it's just a question, he can't hurt you for asking a question. The first time I got married, I didn't tell my parents and siblings for 3 months and let them figure it out. They asked... so I told, easy as that. So, just ask and he'll tell, he may give you a lame reason, but he'd at least have given you some sort of explanation.

If my best friend didn't want me in her wedding party, she probably wouldn't have told me about her engagement because they're trying to keep it a secret. They're currently not telling anyone because they're worried that his side is going to butt in and try to run the show, and I'm not allowed to say anything to my boyfriend or anyone not in the know. Kind of strange, actually...
