Today, I found out where the mysterious bites on my back keep coming from. It's not every day you find an earwig in your loofah. FML

Hey, if someone kept squishing you against someone's back in the shower, I bet you'd bite them too.

Earwigs don't bite, OP. Even their pinchers wont leave any sort of characteristic bug bite. Sounds like you got more than Earwigs in your loofas lurking about your house.

I will forever be somewhat scared of my loofah from now on.

So, you sleep with your loofa? It's more than likely bedbugs...ck ur bed,box spring, pillows, and anything else you sit on or lay down on for long length of time ...sofa, chairs, .. Friends or families furnitures too.... Bed bugs travel and when u get them it is he'll to get rid of them but it can be done if u do it RIGHT.

Ahh, the elusive Arthropod aloof in your loofah.

*googles earwig* *shudders* ewwww why the **** did I look that up?

I guess that means its time to get the whole place sprayed... and get a new loofa.

*shudders* blah. So nasty! :/

Earwigs have pincers on their rear end, if you found one in your washing products either there was multiple and you didnt notice (odd in itself) or more likely, its not the cause.

So everyone's gonna go home and check their loofahs for bugs now...

HOLY CRAP!!! Those things are freaking scary looking! I seriously was just having a conversation about how I would hate to see one up close! But I would've never expected it to live in a loofa..

Why not? Earwigs love damp, dark places, and they love to hide... So hiding inside a wet sponge is pretty much perfect.

Eh. They're not that bad. I'd rather be pinched by an earwig than bitten by a spider or mosquito, tbh. At least earwigs don't have venom and are generally harmless :)
