I used to be a skier like you then i took a fracture to the knee
How painful is it? Impossible to ski with a knee brace? If it has been a few weeks since you injured it, maybe you can still ski with a leg brace. I snowboard with my leg brace, because I tore my ACL. I was snowboarding a few weeks after my surgery as long as i have my brace, I am fine.
My orthopedic surgeon said that a fracture is almost the same thing as a break so unfortunately I don't think he will be able to ski.
This has happened to me before
Skiing sucks anyways
i broke my leg first day in colorado being stupid. its no fun having to sit around...
That does sound pretty ironic but don't let it ruin your whole trip! Go sit by the fireplace in the lobby and curl up with a good book. Mingle with other visitors of the hotel and chit chat with the hotel staff and they might try to make your stay better by getting you room service perks, etc. Maybe you will meet some cute person who will say "Aw poor baby" and will carry you around in their arms from place to place. Don't just stay couped up in your room!

Pig out and take advantage of room service?
Or you can play Skyrim and tell everyone about how you took an arrow to the knee.
