Today, I got a computer. When I opened it, I found out that my dad had made himself the administrator. He made it so everything shut off after 11 o'clock, and made it so I couldn't download anything without his password. FML

Just download tons of horse **** on his computer. When he asks why, tell him that for some reason, you couldn't download anything on yours so you used his instead. :D

Yeah, run away from home. He'll never let you go if you tell him. On the other hand, do you have the system restore disc? 'Cause you could just do that to get rid of the thing he set up. :)

lmao #199. OP, my dad blocked a bunch of shit and moniters everything i do on the computers just get over it its not that bad at least you get a computer. Although i agree the auto turn off sucks mine dosent do that. you can always wide the drive and reinstall the os

Yeah, that really sucks. But think about it. He just got you a new computer, and it probably cost a lot of money. He probably doesn't want to have to spend even more money to fix some viruses that you got on your new computer. My parents did the same thing to my laptop.

#199-> lmao mine turns off at...whenever I go to bed =P

If you're older than 18 and your parents still see a reason for these barriers.. then 1) your parents may be paranoid crazies, 2) you should reevaluate your behavior and see if you're violating their trust somehow and 3) FYL

OP, now would be a good time for you to DELETE ******* EVERYTHING

Boot in safe mode, that'll let you log into the administrator account. From there, go in and create a new account without all the restrictions. Also, check the running processes and find out what programs are running that are blocking access and disable them.
