Today, I got a message from my brother on Facebook that read, "They're watching you." This wouldn't have been such a big deal if he hadn't been dead for two years. FML

Yet more proof of the impending zombie apocalypse!!!!

there is a page on Facebook you can request deceased family members personal Facebook page to be closed with a death certificate :)

It's got to be a prank. Facebook logs your sessions, so if you've a way on to his account you could copy the IP and run it through a site for tracing. you should still report this to a site admin though.

Ok the logical thing to say is someone hacked his account but on the illogical thing to say is holy ****

Wow that's terrifying and messed up at the same time.

I had a feeling if I went far enough into past FMLs I would find one like this. I was right. I love you, FML!

Now I know what I am doing April 1.

I hope you don't mean that, being that's it's an asshole move to mess with someone else's family like that.

Past FMLs? xD I could've sworn I was in Bookmark.

If your brother knew he was going to die (IE he was dying of cancer), this might actually have been a final prank. There is a system out there which, after detecting a certain period of inactivity on your computer, sends out delayed messages you've programmed. I remember hearing about one such case of a man named Jack Froese, who died and then months later, his friend got two emails from him, and this was mentioned as the probable cause. Not sure if this kind of stuff works with Facebook, though.
