Either this is fake or whoever processed it is stupid. A red-light camera takes two photos a fraction of a second apart. They should have been able to tell from the two photos that you were moving pretty slowly into the intersection (being rear-ended wouldn't exactly propel you forwards at 50km/hr). One would also assume they would have been able to see the damage done to your tail. Should be easy to fight, esp. with the police report of the original incident.
OWN3D!!1!!1!11!!!! That is all.
It might not be that easy to fight though, there's at least one district and state where a red-light ticket was upheld as a funeral procession went through, following state law, with an officer waving them on, clearly in the picture. It doesnt matter if you're guilty or not. This is guilt until proven innocent.
Juat tell the judge that and stop your bitching.
The ticket gave me the option to contest it by mail, I included a copy of the police report from my accident. Hopefully this will clear it up, because I'm not driving back to Chicago to contest it in person. God knows I'm not paying it.
hey did you see this post: #5653425? Its really similar! lol =D

Hah, ouch. Good luck getting out of that one. If there was police involvement when you got rear-ended it shouldn't be hard.
FYL. Take it to court and good luck!
