Today, I got an acceptance later to a great boarding school in India for my senior year of high school. I sent them a letter telling them I wouldn't go, because I just got back with my ex-boyfriend. I just got a text from my boyfriend. Guess who's my ex again? FML

You're way too young to base any important decision on a relationship. Things can change so fast!

DUMBEST GURL I HAVE EVER SEEN.......tarini grow up gurl..!!

Well, if she's from India, then I suppose spending a whole year at a boarding school in INDIA isn't that much of a life changing idea. Also, if she's from India, then English might not be her first language, and then the spelling "later" mightn't be that much of an epic fail? Not everybody's first language is English.

You remind me so much of this girl I know she's so booksmart but so stupid when it comes to actual life. You get accepted to a really good school and you turn it down for a guy?! and lookie here, he's not even worth it! great YDI

That's so dumb. You would choose a boy over an important opportunity? Maybe it wasn't meant to be for you to go to a great school in the first place.

Turning down that for an ex boyfriend? YDI very much

While I think people are being a bit harsh, since you're still young and haven't...well, hadn't...yet learned that lesson, you still deserve it. NEVER make life choices based on some other person unless it's a husband/wife or you're in some other huge commitment.

YDI for not knowing which one to priorities; great boarding school > Boyfriend

LOL! YDI for making important life decisions revolve around your on-again-off-again boyfriend at the age of 17. I hope your missed opportunity tastes bitter.

... your ex is always your ex for a reason ydi for basing a huge decision on some guy you've already broken up with once
