Even if your relationship never had problems, you shouldn't reject your first college pick. There are always ways to make it work long distance. It's worse since you had already broken up before... YDI, that was a REALLY poor decision.

I'd say YDI, but frankly from inside a relationship the perspective is different. Anyone from the outside would know 99% of high school romances won't last and it isn't worth throwing away your future, but from the inside, it's perfect and full of possiblities. Sorry to hear you threw away this opportunity, I hope your ex gets a piano dropped on him or something equally deserving and comedic.
