Today, I realized my cousin is an asshole. A cousin that I was close to who got engaged. I was excited to be part of her wedding day, since she was a big part of mine. Months later, on Instagram, she was sharing reels from her bachelorette party. When I asked her why she didn't invite me, she said she forgot. FML

Don't go. Her baby shower isn't that important and if she really wanted you there, she would have picked a different day. Not only has she done this to you twice, but also on milestone birthdays. Shes a bitch, skip it, and besides wouldn't you rather have an awesome 21st than go to a baby shower?

It's her fault her boyfriend proposed on your birthday? How could she have planned that? And baby showers are more of a daytime thing while 21st birthday parties are for night. Just go to the shower then party. You can celebrate your birthday later, that baby won't stay in there forever. She can't plan her events around everyone she know's schedule and big days, holidays, work, a limited timeframe, and open dates for venues. Stop being selfish and just celebrate with her, or shut up and don't go.
