first of all that would only work for so long and second of OP shouldn't have to lie about it it's her baby and her choice she shouldn't have to explain why she is choosing to keep it a suprise,congrats OP having a baby is blessing ignore the ignorant women, I also hope that you do an update after the baby is born so we know what you are having and what you named the baby.

I'd like to know how that even makes sense. And it's really none of that lady's business. It's you and your partners' decision. Also, to everyone saying you need to know the gender to know what colors to paint nursery, etc: There are plenty of gender neutral colored paints and themes out there for this purpose. Not to mention, finding out the gender of your child is a very modern concept to begin with.
