Today, I got excited when my phone vibrated because I thought someone actually wanted to talk to me. When I grabbed my phone, I realized my mind had played a trick on me and I only thought it vibrated. I'm so lonely, I subconsciously trick myself into thinking I have friends. FML

Today, I downloaded an application that notifies me when my phone is fully charged. I had no idea how it actually functions, but I plugged the charger in and went to bed. A couple of hours later, I woke up to a man's voice screaming, "I can't take it anymore!" I nearly wet myself. FML

Today, the power went out at work. As everyone left the building to go home, the owner came in to inform me that, since the phones were on a battery back up, I would be staying to man them. The phones rang 2 times in the 4 hours I sat in the dark by myself. Both times were telemarketers. FML

Today, I was visiting my new in-laws for the first time. During an awkward silence, I took my phone and figured I'd send my friend a text jokingly saying "Mayday, mayday! Somebody save me!" My mood lightened up a little and I felt quite well until my mother-in-law's phone beeped. Yep. FML

Seriously? 1 whole day? Jesus someone craves attention. Sometimes I go a few days between calls, this in no way means your life is ******. Unless of course you never leave the house and only communicate via the phone, but then you have bigger problems on your hands.

I got my cell 4 and a half months ago and have gotten 3 calls, 2 from telus and 1 from my mom. So going a few days is no big deal, Get a life and stop waiting for some one to call you.

I moderated this!!! Not really, but is that really what you want people to do? Fess up guys! we it's annoying but I'm sure we'll all live through a crappy FML. OP....think back, who were you hoping it would be calling you? Now, hold on here this is where it gets tough.. CALL THEM. Don't wanna rock your world or anything, but phones can do that.
