Today, I got home from work and found my dog missing. When I asked my neighbor if she saw what happened, I saw my dog sleeping on her couch. She tried to say it was hers. FML

I would have beat my neighbor up for stealing my dog

Press: but she wasn't holding a weapon! Public: and.... Dog kidnappers must burn

I'm assuming "tried" means you got the dog after all. That's awesome! I should go up to my neighbors and see if they have a dog on the couch. Then try to claim its mine. Worked for you, maybe it will work for me.

Nice username, I'm guessing the dog is female? If not, that's a little awkward......

Can't believe of all the FML's out there this one made it...lol

Wow. Take your dog back, cuss them out, and lock your doors. If anyone took one of my dogs i would be ******* pissed

If it was me, I'd kill her. My dog means everything to me.

This is why people should microchip their pets as soon as they get them!! To prove it's yours all you gotta do is scan it at the vet, get the chip number, call the chip company and they will tell you who the dog is registered to. Oh and it's great for lost pets when they end up in a shelter. Seriously it's like $35 only and it lasts the pet's lifetime. Do it. All of you.

$35? Holy crap! I got my two dogs done for £5 and my 6 housecats free because it was a training day. I've got all my pets chipped, including my horses. Hell, I'd get my kids done if I could. Although the downside is the company charges £10 for each pet to change the details if you move. Guess who has just moved house and has a shitload of pets? Happy are my days.

79- you've got it easy. It's $50 here per dog for chipping. Even if you do it yourself (I'm a zoologist, just FYI, not crazy), you still have to pay $40ish to register the chip.
