Today, I got in a hotel elevator. There was a kid in there also. He got off on the 3rd floor. As he was stepping from the elevator, he decided to press every single button. It's a 35 floor hotel. My room is on the 32nd floor. FML

OK, maybe it wasn't terrible. Except for the fact that this is what the site is for. It still sucks even if my life isn't ****** to shit.

has anyone seen that episode of ellen where she explains that if you press the close door button at the same time as the level button you want to go to it will go straight to your level? hearing this makes me want to try. also, a building with that many floors, their is NO way that would be their only lift. get out and go to another.

just a little fyi: if you hold the button of the floor number that you wish to go to down, it should just shoot you all the way up without making any stops. Works in most hospitals and hotels so it may work for you

Either get on another one, take the stairs, which would be just as bad, or suck it up and wait to you get on your floor.

I cannot quickly fathom a more pleasurable ass-kicking opportunity. Just remember there are probably cameras in the elevator. Also, following the little rat bastard to his room and then bitching to his mother would have been enjoyable... perhaps telling her how you will stomp his damn ass if he ever gets into the same elevator as you again.

I agree with the people who say that the OP should have gotten out and used the other elevator. Not because he would have gotten to his floor quicker, but because it would have been hilarious to see peoples' reactions on the other floors when the empty elevator opens without anyone having pressed the call button (especially of they just saw a scary movie).
