Today, I got in a hotel elevator. There was a kid in there also. He got off on the 3rd floor. As he was stepping from the elevator, he decided to press every single button. It's a 35 floor hotel. My room is on the 32nd floor. FML

So? Hit the open button to keep the doors from closing, get out, and step into the other elevator or use the stairs. There's no reason you should have to wait through the whole thing, doofus.

Totally fake, elevators don't do that anymore. They all have systems designed to cancel all selections if too many are made at once. I know because I frequent hotels.

Yeah, any elevator I have been in recently cancels if lots of buttons are pushed at one time.
