Today, I got in a hotel elevator. There was a kid in there also. He got off on the 3rd floor. As he was stepping from the elevator, he decided to press every single button. It's a 35 floor hotel. My room is on the 32nd floor. FML

OK, maybe it wasn't terrible. Except for the fact that this is what the site is for. It still sucks even if my life isn't ****** to shit.

Have any of you walked up 32 flights of stairs?! It's not exactly fun. And let's assume the OP had luggage since they mentioned it was a hotel. Yeah 32 flights of stairs with luggage. YOU go do that before you criticize people.

Just press and hold your floor number. supposedly it's was police use to get to their desired floor, overriding all other elevator commands.

Double press each button. That deactivates pressed buttons in most elevators.

if you press all the buttons again it cancels them, or so I've heard, I've never had to try it.
