Today, I got into a fight with my mom because she believes that my fiancé is "irresponsible" and "immature". I stormed out and drove back home. There, I walked in on my fiancé and his friends. They were in a heated and almost violent argument over which CSI is the best. The wedding's next month. FML

That doesn't make him irresponsible or immature. I always argue with my bodies on which Game of Thrones season is the best. I consider myself a very mature person.

I don't see the problem. Irresponsible and immature would be coming home to him completely hammered with his buds and the house trashed. An argument about CSI is the least of anyone's problems, I would think.

It's called refined taste. I just wouldn't marry a knuckle-dragging idiot that would take Seinfeld over My Name Is Earl, or anybody that considers something other than Psych an acceptable CSI show. Cheap laughs and cringe-worthy murder scenarios can entertain people better than nuanced stories and characters with depth? Crazy, no wonder American Idol remained a staple of American television for so long. Network executives can shove anything down our throats, I guess. Now they're doing it with Big Bang Theory and (admittedly to a lesser extent, the writing is a lot better) Modern Family. But no, I guess I just hate things for the sake of hating them.
