Today, I got my period 2 days early, while being interviewed for my dream job. Let's just say that I don't have very high hopes after walking backwards to the exit door and falling down upon colliding with the wall. FML

They would probably never even have noticed if you had just walked out normally

YDI. If you knew it was close and you had an imporrant interview, you should've worn at least a liner. Always prepare for the worst during an interview, and black slacks.

How exactly did she deserve it if she didn't know she was going to start? That I disagree on, but what I will agree with is be prepared for the worst. Being a woman myself I've been through worse.

She stated it was two days early. When you get close, you should start wearing a liner. At least, three days in advance.

true, always be prepared for it when it gets within 3 days. op in no way deserved it, but should have worn a liner or something. especially during something as potentially stressful as a job interview.

Two days early doesn't count as knowing that you'll start at that time. Surprise surprise

Poor thing, as a woman I feel for ya!! I keep track of mine, but sometimes I get mine a couple days early. And it's always at the most awkward time!! Like somewhere, where u can't get a pad or tampon and u rush home hoping u don't bleed all over the seat of your car or bleed through your pants and someone can see.. Ugh!!

Now this is how life really happens... The judge-mental girls claiming they're always prepared and where a thin pad 2 days ahead if their scheduled period are full of shit!

Well, if it was a guy your chances aren't great. A woman would probably understand but, for males, menstruation baffles us and we really, truly have no idea what you go through. Sounds like fun though. Good luck OP!

If the interviewer cites that as a reason for not hiring you, then your better off not working for them.

that's an Indian name! I guess it is aanchal and b is for her surname (I'm an Indian too)

Slide your purse on your shoulder so it hangs slightly behind you, try to keep a side angle, and speak to the interviewer as you leave in the hopes of drawing their attention to your face next time?

Then...try the other suggestions?? Pretty much anything except pulling a "Kramer" by crashing into a wall and falling down would be preferable.

yea will definitely keep that in mind.

Biology happens. If an employer is anal about that, you don't want to work for them.

I haven't had a period since last year and even then it was very light and for about a day. Yay contraceptive implant! Been one of the best choices I've made in all honesty, maybe you should look into it and see if it's the thing for you.

So get pregnant just to get rid of her period? Pregnancy is too much of a bug deal for something like that.

49 isn't talking about getting pregnant. She's talking about one of those implants that go into your arm and act like the pill to stop your period.

And I don't know what kind of pregnancies you have but if a bug crawled out of your ******, I'd be a little worried.
