Today, I got my period 2 days early, while being interviewed for my dream job. Let's just say that I don't have very high hopes after walking backwards to the exit door and falling down upon colliding with the wall. FML

I feel like if you just got your period, you could have excused yourself and walked out normally. I've never known someone who has Niagara falls right when they get their period.

I can understand your point of view, however, most interviewers would probably not take too well to the person they are interviewing having to step out even briefly during the interview process. It isn't looked upon as being very professional.

I have never understood why people get embarrassed over normal bodily functions, especially ones you can't always control. Women have periods. All men know this. So, you started early. Just get out of there quickly like a normal person. Chances are, the interviewer wouldn't have noticed. If he did and he looked down upon you for it, then would you really want to work there?
