Today, I got my score back for the monologue I performed. I got points taken off for "seeming nervous." My character was supposed to be nervous. FML

Seems like you should get bonus points for being so convincing!

They're probably just jealous of your talent ;)

That means you're that good of an actress bravo.

Looks like you were set up to fail. If your teacher hands you a scene where you confess to being a serial killer, you may want to quit acting and join a Morris dancing troupe.

Well ******* done! Forget about them. You did a good job.

Did you tell your teacher? But otherwise, if it was believable to the teacher for seeming to be nervous, WELL DONE! =)

That's ridiculous! Whoever scored your monolog is an idiot.

Learn how to spell MONOLOGUE. Then we'll talk.

First of all, learn how up spell. Second, as an actor, you should know the difference between the character's nervousness and your own nervousness. Obviously the teacher knew, since you lost points on it. Try actually acting next time.

Couldn't have said it better myself.

#53 - Yeah, says the person who said: Learn how up spell. Dumbass.

I'm reminded of Buffy's dramatic reading in Scary Movie.
