Today, I got yelled at for providing horrible customer service, in a store I don't even work for. FML

You should have turned the tables around and asked to see the person's manager.

Finally! A situation where the customer is wrong! You should go to the store manager and demand an advance on your imaginary paycheck.

That happened to me once - dressed in a blue polo and khaki slacks while shopping at Best Buy. I just yelled back, dropped a few f-bombs and let out a few mother's-sex-life related insults. This ain't an FML. It's an opportunity to vent off the combined frustrations of thousands of retail workers, without having to deal with the consequences.

i sometimes get mistaken as an employee at walmart during the spring/summer because my only pair of shorts are khaki and my favourite polo shirt is navy blue.

I hate when people just assume you work somewhere! Almost every time i go into Walmart someone assumes i work there. "yes I work at Walmart and I am not wearing a name tag nor blue shirt and brown pants."

This made me think of the episode of The Big Bang Theory where Sheldon started helping customers in the electronics store, and was told to leave for doing so!

Oh, my God! This has happened to me before. LMAOOOO. The lady got mad, like red-in-the-face mad.

I get mistaken for a worker all the time. It gets annoying. Even when I was 14. What the hell!! Some bitch came up to me and bitched me out for not being in proper uniform. I had to listen for five minutes. She was like you don't even look like a worker! And I said "because I'm not." And walked away.

Apparently the screamer is a blind idiot I've had that happen at walmart where I am a customer and I get yelled at for slacking when i don't work there when I wear a navy blue top
