at least you have someone!
thats what happens to me alot.
Is it just me or the idea of a "big party" doesn't include mothers unless its your wedding? Maybe that's why they declined, cause your mother is coming!
I would of visited if you had dip :)
Did they go to another abdication party, or are they not fans of Queen Beatrix?
I agree with #48 maybe if it was an online invite or something they didnt come because they knew your mom would be there. what kind of awesome parties are there when you parents are invited lol?
**** planning parties. Most people are fake anyway and flake as displayed in this post. I only invite between 15 or 20. It's up to them to bring others if I want to do it big. Hopefully those who cancelled weren't close or truly important.
I invited 33 people to my birthday this year and it wasn't even a big party or anything it was just going out to a club. All but three of them cancelled and a lot of them left it until the last minute. You never feel more unpopular than that moment. I feel for you OP. Let's throw our own party with blackjacks and hookers!

Moms are the best.
To your mom, it's still a big party.
