Today, I had a booth at a very expensive craft show. My grandma came to show her support. While there, she managed to knock over my display, get in the way of potential buyers and take down a rather old lady when she supposedly stumbled. This all happened in the first five minutes she was there. FML

I bet you wish "grandma got run over by a reindeer" right about now.

I guess she didn't tell you that she had a competing booth at the other side of the show. That's pure sabotage. Grandma: 1 You: 0

I'd imagine that your grandma feels terrible about it and by no means intentionally meant to ruin your day when in fact she wanted to help you celebrate it

I have the same shit with my mama in law.....

Cherish those moments with dear old Gran

Absolutely. When you're grieving her loss, you can temper it with memories of all the stuff you'll NOT miss. Like this one.

So I'm still laughing over the thought of one granny tackling another! Grammas going for the takedown!

future reference: if you know shes a trainwreck, dont tell her about your shows. pretty simple.

I know the feeling. I've sold some of my stuff at stalls, and while my friends have turned up to support me, I've had to nip a few things in the bud, so they don't scare away customers. They mean well, so they understood that things we do when we hang out might have the effect of putting customers off buying things.

We (Grandmas) can do that stuff & get away with it! One of the perks of getting old!
