Today, I had a customer scream, rant, and bitch me out because the pictures she took with her own camera came out blurry. My manager took her side. FML

She's just mad that even the camera doesn't want to see her ugly face.

That "The customer is always right" thing is total bullshit.

No sense in both of you getting bitched at lol

That's why I hate the whole "the customer is always right" approach. Sometimes the customer is just a ******* dumbass who doesn't know what the hell they're talking about. If the customer is being incredibly stupid and completely wrong, I'm not gonna coddle them just so I won't hurt their feelings. I had a lady come in about a week ago... She wanted to pick up her Christmas cards but used professional prints on them, so I told her she was going to have to come back once she has the copyright release. She bitched about that and ignored our attempts to explain the situation to her and my question as to whether she wanted us to keep the pictures or throw them away. I kept them and two hours later she was back, bitched at me for having my name tag turned over on accident, said she was going to call my manager to complain about me, rudely refused to let me swipe her card because the card reader was messed up ("hell no you're not touching my card"), and then lastly said I treated her like shit and that she hopes I'll get treated the same next time I go shopping. All because I was doing my job. I was SO shocked when that happened. Luckily, one of my managers was in line right behind her and heard everything that was happening and told me that if the lady called, she'd make sure I wasn't gonna get in trouble because I didn't do anything wrong.

That's when you look to your manager and say "Excuse me, but clearly I made a mistake in processing these pictures. Perhaps you can show me how to do it without creating all of this unsightly blur?"

"The customer's always right". What a joke.
