Yeah they did it laparoscopically. And any kind of major surgery is going to be painful, but having it done laparoscopically is much, much better than an open incision! Try not to worry, it's a very safe surgery and they'll take good care of you :)

Dang...are you on any pain meds? That could possibly help a bit.
Wow, I'm so sorry. I'll second the spoonful of sugar recommendation, if you aren't feeling too crappy to swallow anything.
Been there done that! Just wait until you gotta poo! Sorry op!
I feel your pain. I had an appendectomy not too long ago. Then immediately got a cough. Hurt like hell for weeks! :( Hopefully the pain will ease soon! :)
You have my sympathy that's for sure. I've had 7 surgeries on my stomach so I know how you feel. Just wait until you sneeze or cough! Ouch! Or when respitory comes in and tells you to put a pillow over your stomach and cough! Yeah right! Anyway, my thoughts for a speedy recovery.
Peanut butter stops hiccups
Really?
I had may gallbladder removed last year... The hiccups hurt so freaking much but I'm so glad I don't have a huge scar
